Create your own beautiful vintage-style cake in this hands-on decorating class! You’ll learn the essential techniques behind classic piping and Lambeth-style cake design while creating a cake you’ll be proud to take home.

We’ll begin by practicing with a variety of piping tips. I’ll demonstrate how to properly use each tip and show you how changing your piping angle and technique can create different decorative effects. Once you’ve practiced the techniques, you’ll put your new skills to work decorating your own pre-iced 6-inch cake.

In this class, you’ll learn:

  • Cake and buttercream recipes

  • How to make and color Swiss meringue buttercream

  • How to properly pipe with a variety of piping tips

  • How to create a vintage-inspired Lambeth-style cake

  • How to achieve clean, even buttercream swags and decorative details

This class is completely hands-on and approximately 3 hours in length. All materials are provided, including one 6-inch pre-iced cake for you to decorate and take home.
